What wud you like to change about New Zealand
This thread is for people to have their say on one thing they would like to change about New Zealand and why?

I will start. I would like to change the 'oh, we are so small attitude' of New Zealanders. I think it is this that makes us unnoticable. Do you think George Bush would have cared less if Helen Clarke would have not met him during her visit to Washington? We need to have our present felt to the outside world. We are geographically as big as Britain or Japan. So don't give me that we are so small crap. We might be lesser in numbers but collectively we can do what not many nations around the world can do. I think we should develop more zest, As a small nation we take pride in such small things that if noticed by rest of the world it would be a matter of ridicule.

Think big New Zealand.

Totally agree with MortiS. Abso freakin lutely!
NZ needs to have the courage to stand up - and be the leaders in sustainable living. For goodness sake - don't follow the rest of those yobbos in the globe - cause i'm telling ya this - they are heading to a one way ticket to Shitville.
We have the greatest opportunity in our wonderful Godzone! Aotearoa! to be the example to the world on how sustainable living can lead to not only a better environment but also a more engaged and conscious society that recognises value beyond the short-lived materialiasm - but the value of community spirit, individual endeavour and purpose to provide for themselves and their family in a truly sustainable and authentic way. I would like to change what is happening with New Zealand's children, they are being abused and killed by their own family which is totally not accepted in a developed nation.

I appreciate you wanting to get rid of crime from good old NZ by eliminating gangs and executing worst offenders.
If you want to see that happening than vote NATIONAL.

I would like to see more motorbikes on the road saving gas and less money going offshore

if you build libraries and reading rooms where people will study then they will change ur contry.because only highly educated people can build and emprove ur country.
